Breakdance can be started when you turn 11 years old
Breakdance (or break) was born in United States during the 1970’s and it took off globally from there. Characteristic movements for break are different acrobatics, spinning on the floor, and portraying both dynamic and fast footwork.
In addition to learning the basics of breakdancing, the students learn about fitness skills related to strength and flexibility. The students will be able to develop their own unique dance expressions and personal styles.
Break is for everyone; both girls and boys are welcomed to the same classes!
Beginner-friendly “breakdance 1-2” and the group for more experienced dancers, “breakdance 3-4”, have a single dance class weekly. Students in “breakdance 3-4” also have the option to choose the additional technique-class, which adds 60 min in their weekly training.
NOTE! For younger students (9-year-olds) there is a junior breakdancing class! Read more about junior break.
Enrollment for new students in selected groups opens again in January 2025.
