Contemporary dance is a versatile art- and exercise form, which combines different dance styles and genres, -techniques, acrobatics — forming itself into a super interesting and powerful entity.
Contemporary dance puts focus on creativity, expression and the ability to express feelings with dance.
It is never too late to be a new beginner dance-student; we take into account the possible restrictions and limits of the adult body, when getting familiar with new dance techniques. In addition to technique training, these classes include fitness exercises, and the students will get better at immersive dance-expression along with developing their spatial awareness. Improv is a vital part of contemporary dance classes.
A whole choreography will be combined using the smaller arrangements practiced during the Autumn and Spring semesters.
The duration of contemporary dance classes for adults are 75 minutes.
Enrollment for new students in selected groups opens again in January 2025.
