Dance with your toddler

The child is 2 or 3 years old, or at least they will be 2 by the end of the calendar year

The age of the child should match the age description of the dance class by the end of the calendar year, as classes begin each Autumn. So for the semesters of 2025-26, the child should be 2 years old by the end of December 2025. If a new student joins the class in January 2026, they should already be 2 years old.

There’s nothing better than a familiar, safe adult to guide a toddler in the beginning of their dance studies! The accompanying adult may be a parent, grandparent or perhaps a godparent. We wish for the adult to stay the same through the school year.

The ways we familiarize the world of dance for the toddlers is through playing, nursery rhymes, music and movement. The toddlers soon start to develop their basic physical abilities and skills. The adults also get a nice, active routine for the year.

Dancing together and sharing this moment with your toddler deepens the bond you already have.

Dance with your toddler -groups have a single 45-minute dance class every week.
